River Scott

River Scott has held a number of roles in finance and accounting. In 2021, they began their current role as Director of Corporate Finance and Director of Finance & Accounting at PetDx. Prior to this, they were a Management Consultant at ECG Management Consultants from 2018-2021. From 2016-2018, they were an Audit Senior Assistant at Deloitte. River also held two internships at Westar Energy, first from 2013-2014 as an Intern in Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance, and from 2014-2016 as an Intern in Credit Risk Management. During these internships, they tested General Computer Controls per Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and researched financial statements, credit ratings, and market trends of various energy trading counterparties.

River Scott received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from The University of Kansas between 2011 and 2014, followed by a Master's Degree in Accounting from the same institution between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended St. James Academy from 2007 to 2011. In April 2018, River Scott obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the AICPA.
