Amy Ruscigno currently serves as a Clinical Assistant at Victorian Clinical Genetics Services (VCGS) since November 2023 and has been a Research Assistant at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since March 2022, working on the POETIC trial within the Psychosocial Cancer Genomics Team. Previously, Amy worked as a Research Assistant at VCGS from February 2021 to December 2022 on Mackenzie’s Mission, focusing on screening decliners. Experience also includes an internship in Genomics in Society at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Genetic Counselling expected in October 2025 and a degree in Genomics and Health from the University of Melbourne, along with a Bachelor of Biomedicine Honours in Paediatrics and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Genetics. Prior education was completed at Ivanhoe Grammar School and St Monica's College.
