Rashindrie Perera

Rashindrie Perera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Scientist and Data Scientist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Rashindrie has also contributed as a PhD Candidate and Academic Tutor at the University of Melbourne since February 2020. In addition to these roles, Rashindrie held leadership positions with IEEE Women in Engineering Victorian Section and has previous experience as a Software Engineer and Developer at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka and Terra HRM. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Rashindrie possesses a strong academic foundation complemented by practical teaching and software development experiences.
