Supervisor Of Digital Communications at Petersburg City Public Schools

Terrance Dixon has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 with an internship as a Production Intern at Radio One. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Television Reporter at WCVW-PBS (HDTV) and as a News Videographer at NBC29 WVIR-TV. In 2014, they also served as a Washington Redskins Correspondent at isportsweb.com. From 2015 to 2017, Dixon worked as the CEO and Digital Host at In The Mix. Terrance then joined NBC12 - WWBT, where they held various roles from 2016 to 2022, including Digital Reporter/Multimedia Journalist, Videographer/Photojournalist, and ultimately Digital News Anchor/ MMJ. Currently, since 2022, they are working as the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at Petersburg City Public Schools, responsible for creating and managing messages, composing publications, developing crisis communications plans, and enhancing the district's brand perception.

Terrance Dixon attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies with a focus on Broadcast Journalism.
