Walter Lumadi

Walter Lumadi is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the diamond mining industry. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Petra Diamonds since March 2021, Walter has held various engineering roles, including Section Engineer at Cullinan Diamond Mine (Pty) Ltd. from August 2017 to March 2021, and Engineering Superintendent-Mining at Petra Diamonds from October 2016 to July 2017. Walter's career began as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Petra Diamonds from July 2013 to June 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration specializing in Engineering from the University of South Africa, obtained from April 2021 to October 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North West University, completed in 2012.
