Daniel Zillante

Daniel Zillante is currently the COO at Petra, a construction tech startup they co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of until it was acquired by Petra in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a summer consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.

Zilper Trenchless Inc was founded in 2019 by Daniel and another student from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The company specialized in creating cost-efficient equipment for underground infrastructure projects with the vision of significantly reducing the cost of pipelines by developing the latest technologies in what is considered a very traditional industry. In just three years, the company grew from 2 founders to 31 people with over 3,000 feet of pipeline installed. The company's patented technology reached product-market fit in record-breaking time and they were successfully acquired by Petra Undergrounding in July 2022.

Daniel Zillante studied Business Administration and Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration - MBA. Daniel then went on to study Production Engineering at Universidad Simón Bolívar, before completing their studies in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.
