Ammar Ishaq has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Ammar started their career in 1992 as a Maintenance Engineer at SPW. In 1994, they moved on to MAS Industrial Group where they worked as an E&I Engineer until 1997. Ammar then joined Petrofac in 1997, starting as an Instrument Engineer - Field Supervisor and progressively taking on more responsibilities. Ammar worked as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, and Project Manager - Commissioning from 1999 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Deputy Project Director - Completions. Ammar then became the Project Director - Iraq Country Manager for Petrofac from 2011 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Operations at Petrofac, a position they have held since 2018.
