Emily Connell

Emily Connell is a highly experienced motion graphics artist and graphic designer. Emily has worked as a freelance junior motion graphics artist at PETROL Advertising since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an independent contractor, specializing in motion and graphic design, for clients from 2016 onwards. Emily has also served as a creative director at Permission Interactive from 2008 to 2015, leading a design team in creating animated websites and designing product packaging. Emily has also worked as a graphic designer at various companies, including Firefly Digital, Southern Star Endemol, Jack Morton Worldwide, Rhythm Media, and MMC Learning and Development, gaining experience in designing graphics for clients such as Motorola, ING, and McDonald's USA. Emily's diverse work experience showcases their talent for creating visually appealing and effective design solutions for clients across different industries.

Emily Connell's education history includes attending the School of Motion in 2021, where they studied Motion Design & Animation. Prior to that, in 2002, they completed a Certificate IV in Computer Graphic Design at Shillington Education. In 1998, they earned a BA in Multimedia Arts from SAE Institute Australia, specializing in Multimedia Design. Emily also obtained a Certificate IV in Multimedia Production from SAE Institute Australia in the same year.

In addition to their formal education, Emily has obtained several certifications. Emily completed the Principles of Animation (Animation Bootcamp) course and the Introduction to After Effects (After Effects Kickstart) course at the School of Motion in November 2021 and August 2021, respectively.
