Shireen al Balushi

Shireen Al Balushi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and assurance within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Senior Governance, Risk & Assurance Analyst at Petroleum Development Oman since October 2019, Shireen previously held the role of Managing Director and owner of Leadership Principle LLC, focusing on training and consultancy services from November 2016 to October 2019. Prior to that, Shireen worked as an Audit Specialist and Internal Auditor Executive at Oman Oil Marketing Company from January 2014 to January 2017 and gained accounting experience at Halliburton Worldwide Limited from March 2012 to January 2014. Shireen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University and is currently pursuing a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
