Chithra Govindan

Chithra Govindan has a diverse work experience in various companies. Chithra worked as the Head of APAC Integrated Business Planning at PETRONAS Lubricants International since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager in Regional Supply Chain Excellence at the same company from July 2017 to May 2022. Chithra also served as the Vice President of Group Strategy & Transformation at RHB Banking Group from August 2014 to June 2017. Chithra worked as a Project Manager at Alleati Consulting Sdn Bhd for a brief period in 2014. Chithra's experience also includes roles at Renoir Consulting, Maersk Group, Port of Tanjung Pelepas, and APM Terminals, where they held positions such as Project Manager, Project Leader, Consultant/Senior Consultant, Commercial Planning Manager, Manager of R&D and Statistics, and Program Specialist in Safety & Training. Chithra started their career as a Maersk International Shipping Education (MISE) Trainee, where they gained experience in Supply Chain Management, Marketing & Capacity Management, and Customer Service.

Chithra Govindan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology, Malaysia, from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education from Assunta Secondary School, Malaysia, from 1993 to 1997, with a degree in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia. Additionally, they hold a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2014.
