Judy Fairburn

Judy Fairburn is a co-founder and fund managing partner at The51, a financial feminism platform focused on democratizing women-led venture funds, which has successfully activated $65 million across 38 innovative companies since its inception. Judy serves as the committee chair for people and sustainability on the board of directors at PETRONAS and is a board director at VEERUM, leveraging digital technology for industrial asset management. With a history of impactful board roles, Judy has also contributed to MEG Energy Corp. and Sustainable Development Technology Canada, enhancing ESG initiatives and advancing cleantech solutions. Judy's expertise extends to selection panel work for the Canadian Global Hypergrowth Project and involvement in various strategic economic initiatives related to resources. Educationally, Judy holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering.
