Amitabh Garg

Amitabh Garg is a seasoned Senior Reservoir Engineer at Petrotechnical Resources of Alaska (PRA) with extensive experience in creating Field Development Plans, building 3D geocellular models, and preparing reservoir engineering simulation models for field appraisal and development. Prior to PRA, Amitabh held various significant roles at BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. from 2005 to 2015, including WF EOR Lead and Alaska Technology Lead, where responsibilities included conducting simulation studies for recovery processes, creating development plans for mature oil fields, and managing technology programs. Amitabh began their career in reservoir engineering at Occidental Oil and also contributed to research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Amitabh holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, along with an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
