Andrew J. Fraser

Andrew J. Fraser is an experienced animal welfare professional currently serving as the Adoption Grants Manager for PetSmart Charities, where responsibilities include managing partnerships with animal welfare organizations in the U.S. Previously, Fraser held key positions at The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, including Provincial Manager of Partnerships & Community Outreach, where new programs supporting Indigenous and Northern communities were developed. Fraser has also contributed as an Ethics Committee Member and Author for a guide on the ethics of the animal-human interface, endorsed by Oxford University. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Peterborough Humane Society and various roles within the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, focusing on animal care, education, and public engagement. Fraser's educational background includes studies in Indigenous Studies from the University of Alberta and professional development in effective communication and relationship-building.
