Hector, Zhengzhong Liu

Hector, Zhengzhong Liu has worked at three companies in their career. Hector, Zhengzhong began their career in 2012 as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they worked on the DEFT project sponsored by DARPA. Hector, Zhengzhong'smain research focus was to study how events are described in human languages and the relations between events in textual documents, and to apply computational and statistical techniques to model the nature and representation of events. In 2015, they took on a Research Intern role at Google. In 2019, they became the Head of Engineering at Petuum, and also took on a Research Scientist role.

Hector, Zhengzhong Liu has a solid educational background. Hector, Zhengzhong obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University between 2007 and 2012. Afterwards, they completed their Master in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University in 2014. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2018.
