Moby Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2004, Moby interned at the Indian Red Cross Society. Moby then worked as a Technical Media Graduate Assistant at Missouri State University from 2005 to 2006. Moby's career in content began with roles at Content Yogi Solutions, where they served as a Content Specialist, Content Editor, and Quality Lead from 2010 to 2012. Moby then worked as a Content Specialist at Bip & Sum Software Solutions from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Moby worked as a Consultant - Writing Corrections at EF Education First. They then served as a Data Consultant at therunthrough.com from 2014 to 2015. In 2014, Moby also worked as a Web Project Manager and Content Strategist at Prodest. From 2017 to 2021, Moby worked as a Digital Consultant at Springboard Marketing Research. In 2016, Moby became the Chief Administrative Officer at PEWIN - Private Equity Women Investor Network, and in 2019, they held the same role at The Williams Legacy Foundation.

Moby Thomas has a diverse educational background. Moby began their academic journey by completing their Elementary education at Shree Vidhyalaya from 1988 to 1993. Following this, they attended Amala Matric Higher Sec School from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained their Higher Secondary degree. Moving forward, Moby pursued their undergraduate studies at Karunya Institute of Technology, Bharathiyar University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science. Finally, they further advanced their education by enrolling at Missouri State University from 2004 to 2006. During this period, they successfully completed an MBA degree specializing in Computer Information Systems.
