James Lin

James Lin has worked in the field of technology since 2002. James began their career as a Creator/Producer at Stanford University. In 2006, they became a Product Manager at imeem. In 2008, they became a Product Manager at MySpace Video. In 2009, they joined Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) as a Senior Director of Business & Product Development, AEG Television. At AEG, they helped develop and launch AXS TV, a linear cable television network, and developed a mobile app prototype for a loyalty/rewards program. James also built and launched Augmented Reality/Mixed Reality sponsored activations at L.A. LIVE, and led the research and development of new digital products. In 2020, they joined Pex as a Senior Product Manager. At Pex, they are responsible for enabling the fair and transparent use of copyrighted content at the speed and scale of the Internet.

James Lin completed a Bachelor of Science in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University in 2005, after studying at the university from 2001-2005. James then went on to receive a Master of Arts in Music Science & Technology from Stanford University in 2006.
