Steve Mewborn

Steve Mewborn has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Steve is currently the Director of Business Development at PFES since October 2022. Prior to this, Steve worked at Kelly as the Senior Director of Engineering & Energy from November 2020 to September 2022. Steve was also the Director of Sales at BHI Energy from March 2018 to November 2020. Before that, Steve worked at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Americas, Inc. as the Service Sales Manager from July 2011 to March 2018, and at Toshiba America Energy Systems as the Key Account Manager from April 2009 to July 2011. Steve also has experience at BHI Energy as a Project Manager from March 2008 to April 2009, where they spearheaded the first wind energy project and led project management for maintenance and construction projects at power plant facilities across the US. Additionally, Steve worked at GE as a Generator Project Leader from April 2006 to March 2008, and as a Field Engineer from June 2002 to April 2006.

Steve Mewborn earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they received their high school diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics between 1995 and 1997. In addition to their formal education, Steve Mewborn also obtained a Six Sigma Certification from GE in May 2003.
