Cyril Llamoso

Cyril Llamoso, MD, is a highly experienced leader in the field of infectious disease clinical development, currently serving as Vice President at Pfizer since January 2023. Prior to this, Cyril held the position of Vice President and Head of Infectious Disease Clinical Development at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals from April 2021 to December 2022 and served as Medicine Development Leader at ViiV Healthcare between February 2016 and April 2021. Cyril’s career began at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Group Director for Global Clinical Research in Virology from June 2006 to February 2016. Additionally, Cyril has academic experience as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at SUNY Downstate Medical Center from January 2004 to June 2006 and as Medical Director at Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. from September 2000 to December 2003. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Southwestern University-MHAM College of Medicine and a B.S. in Medical Technology from Southwestern University, among other medical education completion at various institutions.
