Isidoros Ioannou

Isidoros Ioannou has a solid work experience, starting as a Trainee Engineer in Electrical-Mechanical Projects at Renel Corporation in 2015. Isidoros then worked as an Office Assistant & Computer Service personnel in the Hellenic Army before moving into software engineering roles. At INTRASOFT International, Isidoros worked as a Junior Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in the development and design of various products using Java EE 7 framework and other related technologies.

Isidoros then joined PwC Greece as a Senior Software Engineer before moving to XM as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Software Engineer. At XM, they worked on the design and development of Java cloud native applications hosted on AWS using Spring Boot framework, and was responsible for infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.

Currently, Isidoros is working at Pfizer as a Manager, Cloud DevOps Engineer Team Lead. Isidoros leads a team of four DevOps Engineers and is responsible for supporting and managing microservices deployed on Kubernetes. Isidoros also oversees the technical roadmap, architecture, and assists in solution development using various technologies such as EKS, RDS, MSK, and Lambda.

Throughout their career, Isidoros has gained experience in various technologies and tools such as Jenkins, Github workflows, Terraform, Ansible, and Prometheus, among others.

Isidoros Ioannou has a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Hellenic Open University, which was obtained from 2017 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 2008 to 2015. In 2016, they completed a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Heriot-Watt University. Isidoros also attended Università di Pisa in 2011 and 2012 for Electrical and Electronics Engineering and University of Piraeus in 2009 and 2010 for Finance and Banking Administration. Additionally, they have various certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and several others in areas such as data management, Python for data science, and photovoltaic systems.
