Margaret Gamalo

Margaret Gamalo, PhD, FASA, currently serves as the Vice President and Statistics Therapeutic Area Head at Pfizer, with previous roles including Executive Director and Senior Director in Biostatistics. Margaret is also the Editor In Chief for the Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics. Prior to these positions, Margaret worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a Research Advisor specializing in Baricitinib and pediatric drug development, and held roles as a Mathematical Statistician at the FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition and CDER. Margaret earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from the University of California, San Francisco, between 2009 and 2011, and a degree from the University of Pittsburgh from 2001 to 2006.
