Xianchun Tang

Xianchun Tang is a Principal Scientist at Pfizer since August 2015, specializing in therapeutic antibody discovery, engineering, and assay development, with experience as a project lead. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at Pfizer, Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where Xianchun Tang worked on innovative bat-coronavirus receptor screening, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh focusing on a novel tetravalent influenza vaccine. Xianchun Tang also served as a Research Assistant at The University of Hong Kong, leading research on coronavirus identification. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, an M.S. in Preventive Veterinary Medicine, and a B.S. in Veterinary Medicine from Huazhong Agricultural University.
