Matt Long

Matt Long has a diverse work experience history. Most recently, they worked at PFL.com as a Solutions Architect, leading custom software solution projects and serving as the ScrumMaster for the development of a complex SaaS application. Matt also provided support for engineers using various technologies. Prior to that, they attended the Flatiron School's immersive software engineering program, where they gained skills in full-stack development using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Ruby, and Ruby on Rails. Before pursuing a career in technology, Matt held positions at Company Green, where they managed the Human Resources & Maintenance Division and led a landscape construction crew, as well as at Shepherd Community Center and Grace Church in Indiana, where they served in various roles related to mentoring coordination and program internships.

Matt Long obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biblical Literature from Taylor University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In 2020, they enrolled in the Flatiron School and completed a Software Engineering Certificate. Additionally, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2020.
