David Heckathorn

David Heckathorn is an experienced project manager and application engineer with a background in managing capital projects and technical solutions within the energy and oil/gas industries. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since February 2023, David oversees projects supporting the operating license at Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Prior experience includes roles as an Application Engineer at Atlas Copco USA, where responsibilities involved providing technical solutions and proposals, and project management positions at REC Solar and Pacific Gas and Electric Company, focusing on electrical and instrumentation/control systems. Additionally, David held the role of Solutions Architect at Ericsson, where project scope and business cases were defined. Early career experience includes a position as a part-time clerk at QuikTrip. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Studies from The University of Kansas.
