Marlene Santos

Marlene Santos is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Customer and Enterprise Solutions Officer at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since March 2021, Marlene oversees services for over 16 million customers in Northern and Central California. Prior to this role, Marlene was the President of Gulf Power Company from January 2019 to March 2021, where significant improvements in safety, operating costs, carbon emissions, and reliability were achieved. Marlene's career at NextEra Energy included the position of Chief Integration Officer, responsible for major M&A activities, and a long tenure at Florida Power & Light Company, culminating in the role of Vice President of Customer Service. Marlene holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
