Alaa Abdou, PMP®, has over two decades of experience in electrical engineering and project management. Currently serving as Project Engineering Lead and Electrical Engineering Lead at PGESCO since June 2012, Alaa Abdou has previously held positions as Senior Electrical Engineer at Bechtel Power from June 2008 to June 2012, and Electrical Design Engineer across several companies including Misr Electrical and Mechanical Industries Co., Pan Emirates Engineering Co., and Cegelec. Alaa Abdou began the engineering career at ABB Automation as an Electrical Engineer. Alaa Abdou earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power & Machines Engineering from Cairo University in 2001.
