We are seeking candidates to fill a Design Integration Engineer position that have experience in the design of heavy civil, underground structures and tunnels with design integration experience on large-scale rail transit projects. This is a full-time position for an initial 6-month period, with a possibility for an extension. The successful candidate will be working in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Support the development and implementation of the design and systems integration process.

  • Support inter-, intra-contract and third parties interfaces coordination and provide technical input for baseline interface register and interface control documents.

  • Identify gaps within the interfaces and scope.

  • Continue development of Program-Wide Interface Drawings.

  • Support Design Integration Manager in day-to-day activities related to design and systems integration management.

  • Facilitating interface meetings for resolution of complex interfaces through each level of  design.

  • Provide recommendations for interface decisions while considering programmatic needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Architecture degree, or higher.

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the design of heavy civil, underground structures and tunnels.

  • Experience in design integration on large-scale rail transit projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic project environment.

  • Good communication, organizational and analytical skills.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
