PGH Wong was established in 1985 on its extraordinary foundation in systems engineering and is now a full-service engineering, architecture, construction management, and program/project management consulting firm for public and private entities across the nation.

We are seeking candidates seeking candidates who have a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the rail-transit sector. This is a full-time position for an initial 9-month period, with a possibility for an extension. The successful candidate will be based in Santa Clara, CA, with flexibility to also work remotely.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the development of the baseline requirements database for design deliverables in close collaboration and coordination with Design Managers and  Discipline Leads. Requirements database will be derived from design criteria, technical specifications, and other project requirements documents.

  • Support Requirements Management Lead in day-to-day activities related to  Requirements Management.

  • Review requirements compliance evidence and develop Requirements Verification Traceability Matrices (RVTMs) for design deliverables.

  • Carry out reviews, provide comments, and issue approvals of sub-contractor requirements  deliverables (such as RVTMs), and manage the coordination between databases.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree, or equivalent.

  • 5-10 years of experience in the design of multi-disciplinary transportation facilities, preferably with knowledge and experience with a Requirements Management Tool software (you will utilize IBM DOORS as the RM tool).

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic project environment, within a  diverse team of engineers and managers.

  • Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
