Dave McLean

Vice President Operations at PGS

Dave McLean has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Dave began their career at Halliburton in 1988 as an Instrument Engineer. Dave then joined BP in 1990 as a Senior Systems Engineer for two years. In 1992, they worked as a Production Engineer at Spectrum Technologies for a brief period. In 1993, they joined PGS as the Chief Instrument Engineer and worked there until 2006. Dave then progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Director. In 2019, they became the Vice President of Operations at PGS, where they are currently employed.

Dave McLean attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a BEng degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. In 2014, they enrolled at the University of Warwick and completed their BSc Hons degree in Management of Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) in 2017. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications from NEBOSH including an International Diploma in Management of Occupational Health & Safety (2017), an International Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operational Safety (2013), and an International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (2013).
