Merethe Bryn

Merethe Bryn has extensive experience in the field of tax, with their most recent role being the VP Head of Tax at PGS since February 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Tax Europe, Africa & Middle East at PGS from January 2018 to February 2020. Before joining PGS, Merethe worked at Fugro Norway as the Tax Manager, where they handled international tax, corporate tax, transfer pricing, and personnel tax issues. Merethe also provided tax advice for pricing and structuring operations in foreign jurisdictions and managed compliance globally. Earlier in their career, Merethe worked as an Associate Lawyer at Deloitte Advokatfirma AS and as a Senior Tax Lawyer at the Oil Taxation Office, where they specialized in oil taxation, Norwegian corporate tax, and transfer pricing. Merethe began their career as an Executive Officer at Næringsetaten, Oslo kommune, where they were involved in administrating control of alcohol licenses.

Merethe Bryn attended the University of Tromsø (UiT) from 1994 to 2000 and obtained a degree in Law (Cand.jur.).
