Sean Murray

Sean Murray has a varied work experience in engineering. In 2021, they are currently working as Propulsion Systems Lead for Phantom Space and Chief Engineer for X-Bow Systems Inc. Prior to this, they were Vehicle Integration Engineer at Firefly Aerospace (2020), Rocket Propulsion Engineer at Astra (2018), and Propulsion Design Intern at Stealth Space Company (2018-2017). In 2017, they were also the Founder and President of the Mizzou Students' Underwater Robotics Foundation (Mizzou SURF) and President and Lead Engineer of the University of Missouri - Columbia chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in 2016.

Sean Murray attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Sean then pursued a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Texas A&M University.
