Nicolas Brenninkmeijer

Seed Round Investor at Pharem

Nicolas Brenninkmeijer is currently pursuing a joint PhD at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and University of Antwerp, focusing on wealth inequality and its intergenerational persistence in Belgium during the 19th and 20th centuries as part of the "An Ancestor's Tale" research initiative. Additionally, Nicolas serves as a seed round investor at EKOLUTION, Pharem, and Battolyser Systems, after previously holding the position of private equity investor at Freshstream and working in currencies and emerging markets risk management at J.P. Morgan. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master of Science in Economics and Strategy for Business from Imperial College London, and a BSc (Hons) in Management from The University of Manchester, along with an International Baccalaureate from St. John's International School. Nicolas is also a member of the Social History of Capitalism research group at VUB.
