Cevdet Acar

Cevdet Acar has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Cevdet currently serves as the Associate Director of Legal at PharmaCann Inc since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Rocky Mountain Cannabis Corporation as the In-House Counsel & Director of Development from November 2020 to December 2021. Cevdet also worked as a Legal Advisor at Star Buds from 2019 to October 2020. Other roles include being an Associate Attorney at Tyson Gurney Hovey, LLC, a Contract & Lease Analyst at LoneTree Energy & Associates, and a Litigation Attorney at Colson Hicks Eidson. Cevdet also gained valuable experience as a Business and Legal Affairs Intern at BBC Worldwide and as a Legal Intern at Kiva.org. Additionally, they worked as a Legislative Intern at the Office of US Congressman Jared Polis.

Cevdet Acar has a strong educational background in law. Cevdet obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, they pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at Vermont Law and Graduate School between 2012 and 2013. In 2011, they completed a Master of Resource Law Studies at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law.

Their undergraduate studies were focused on Political Science, as they earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado in 2011.

Additionally, Cevdet Acar holds certifications as a member of both the Colorado State Bar Association, obtained in June 2019, and the New York State Bar Association, obtained in October 2016.
