PDMI is looking to add a Call Center Support Specialist to our team! Since 1984, PDMI has provided pharmacy data processing and other flexible, scalable solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. We offer transparent, pass-through pharmacy processing and other services for private label Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), vertically integrated health plans and hospital systems. In addition to Pharmacy Benefit Administrative Services, we offer 340B Administration, Hospice and Long-Term Care Services.

Your Role:

As a Call Center Support Specialist, you will be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, assisting pharmacies, physicians, and members with various inquiries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls from pharmacies, physicians, or members professionally and providing accurate resolutions
  • Troubleshooting issues with our online claims adjudication system
  • Entering overrides and prior authorizations
  • Real-time eligibility management
  • Assisting other departments as needed

With additional experience and tenure, our Call Center Support Specialists have the chance to take on more responsibilities, such as:

  • Updating client-specific claims processing information
  • Advanced claims payment research
  • Mentoring of fellow Call Center Agents
  • Responding to external email requests promptly and professionally

Your Required Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma; a two- or four-year college degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy setting (preferred)
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (preferred but not required)
  • Strong customer service skills
