Andrew Thorne

Andrew Thorne has a diverse work experience in various roles and sectors. Andrew currently serves as the Director of Analytics and Program Development at Pharmacy Quality Solutions, Inc. since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager of Data Analytics in the same company from September 2021 to June 2023. Andrew also has experience in academia, having served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Education at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy since February 2020. Previously, they worked at UNC Health Care as the System Clinical Manager of Investigational Drug Services from August 2018 to September 2021. Andrew also gained experience at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as a Health System Pharmacy Administration Resident from June 2016 to July 2018. Andrew started their career at UNC Health Care as an intern from April 2013 to August 2015. Andrew also has experience in teaching, having worked as a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University from August 2011 to April 2012. Andrew started their professional journey as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Brigham Young University from March 2009 to February 2011.

Andrew Thorne has a Master of Science degree in Health System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2016. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University, which they earned from 2008 to 2012. In addition, Andrew Thorne has obtained various certifications, including a Pharmacist License from the North Carolina State Board of Pharmacy (2018) and the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (2016).
