Angela Garcia, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and positions. Angela began their career as an Executive Administrative Assistant at HealthCor Holdings, Inc. in 1995, where they provided executive-level support and assisted in the development of company policies and procedures. From 1998 to 2003, Angela worked as an Executive Assistant at the Dallas Bar Association, managing board meetings, special events, and volunteer activities. Angela then joined USMD Health System, first as an Executive Assistant and later as a Special Projects Manager, where they established project management methodologies and assisted with strategic initiatives.

In 2006, Angela ventured into entrepreneurship as the Owner and Director of the Canvas Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas, curating exhibitions of artists from around the world. Angela later returned to the healthcare industry, working for Quality Metrics Partners as an Executive Administrator and Vice President of Operations, overseeing various departments and achieving significant cost savings through the implementation of a professional employer organization transition.

Angela's role as the Director of Operations at DPC Healthcare, from 2018 to 2020, involved managing clinic and business operations, business development, strategic planning, staffing, IT, and more. Angela introduced the Direct Primary Care Mobile Clinic, the first of its kind in Texas, and fostered a company-wide culture that earned recognition from the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.

Angela'smost recent position was as the Director of Business Operations at Surepoint Medical Centers, where Angela contributed to the growth and success of the organization's free-standing emergency centers and family medicine/urgent care practices in Texas.

Currently, Angela Garcia holds the position of Human Resources Director at Pharmacy Specialists, where they utilize their expertise in HR to lead and manage the HR department.

Angela Garcia, PMP holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Southern Methodist University. Angela obtained their degree in 2004. In addition to their bachelor's degree, Angela Garcia also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in December 2014.
