Tara Musquiz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 2000, they served as Office Manager/Project Coordinator at J.A.C. Building, Inc. where they provided various levels of operational support for a general contractor, including administrative/general office support, human resource management, and project coordination. In 2004, they began working for Jefferson County as an Application Development Supervisor, where they supervised the Service Design Team and participated in the ITS Executive Leadership Team to develop goals and strategies to improve the ITS Division. In 2013, they joined the City of Arvada as Network Systems Manager, where they supervised the Network Systems Team, managed and supported the growth of mobile technology and virtual desktop implementation, and participated in the strategic development for outcome and performance measurements in the department. In 2014, they worked for Jefferson County as Human Services IT Director, where they developed the strategy and vision for technology and data for Jefferson County Human Services in order to streamline service delivery, improve business efficiencies, maintain security compliance, and measure outcomes. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Phase Change Software LLC as an Agile Project Manager.
Tara Musquiz received their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2002. Tara attended the University of Denver from 1998 to 2000. In 2009, Tara Musquiz obtained a Microsoft web/windows developer certificate from Red Rocks Community College. In December 2021, Tara Musquiz obtained two certifications from Coursera: Chatbot Building Essentials and Python for Data Science and AI. Additionally, in November 2011, Tara Musquiz obtained a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
