Pallavi Madakasira

Pallavi Madakasira has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the energy and clean technology sectors. Most recently, they serve as the Vice President - Strategic Marketing and Corporate Development at Phase Change Solutions, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Mentor for Female Leaders in Energy (FLIE) at the United States Energy Association.

From 2020 to 2022, Pallavi worked as the Managing Director - Clean Energy at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), where they led efforts to ensure the state's long-term competitiveness in the clean energy sector and spearheaded the roll-out of grant programs to create green jobs.

Between 2016 and 2020, they held the position of Head Of Strategic Marketing at Solvay, where they led the strategic planning and development process across multiple business lines, focusing on sustainability strategy and new business opportunities.

During their time at Lux Research from 2010 to 2016, Pallavi served as a Practice Lead, advising Fortune 500 companies on investment strategies in the solar PV, power electronics, energy storage, and energy efficiency sectors. Pallavi also started the practice in Power Electronics and Sensors and led the Solar and Sensors practice.

Before Lux Research, Pallavi worked as a Research Associate at Piper Jaffray, covering the Cleantech Sector and leading coverage of publicly traded solar, wind, and energy storage companies.

Pallavi began their career as a Failure Analysis Engineer at DayStar Technologies and later worked as a Research Engineer at Miasole.

Overall, Pallavi Madakasira's experience spans various leadership roles and responsibilities in strategic marketing, clean energy management, venture consulting, and research analysis within the renewable energy and clean technology sectors.

Pallavi Madakasira holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics, which they obtained from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with Honors (M.Sc(Hons.)) in Physics, from 1999 to 2003. Pallavi has not obtained any additional certifications.
