Sumer Allen has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they were a Sales Associate at Macy's. In 2013, they were an Administrative Assistant at Stoneybrook West, an Event Services Intern at The Lakeland Center, an Education Assistant at the Florida Industrial and Phosphate Research Institute, a Customer Service Trainee at Premiere Beauty Shows, and a Trade Shows and Events Coordinator at Visit Orlando. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Client Solutions Coordinator and Client Solutions Manager at Freeman Company. In 2020, they were a Customer Success Advocate I at Lumen Technologies. In 2021, they were a Project Coordinator at Bounteous. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Project Manager at Phase2.

Sumer Allen has a Bachelor's Degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management, which they obtained between 2014 and 2016.
