Danae Arvaniti, B.A., M.Sc., M.P.P

Danae Arvaniti is a B.A., M.Sc., M.P.P with extensive experience in partnerships and fundraising, ESG policy consulting, account executive, junior policy advising, co-founding Extinction Rebellion in Athens, Greece, environmentalist-online media consultant, private tutoring, personal assistant to a director, and crisis officer. In 2022, they began working as the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager at Phaver. Danae also began working as the ESG Policy Consultant and Account Executive at Frank & Fame. In 2021, they were a Junior Policy Advisor at United Nations University - Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS). In 2019, they co-founded Extinction Rebellion in Athens, Greece and was an Environmentalist-Online Media Consultant at Extinction Rebellion UK. Danae was also a Private Tutor at Tutorful. In 2017, they were a Personal Assistant to a Director at Elix. In 2016, they were a Junior Account Executive at Frank & Fame. In 2013, they were an Event Coordinator at Oxfam and a Crisis Officer at North American Model United Nations (NAMUN).

Danae Arvaniti has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 2012 to 2017. Danae specialized in Philosophy. Danae also attended East York Collegiate Institute from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained their Grade 12 High School Diploma and was an Ontario Scholar. Prior to that, they were at The American College of Greece from 2007 to 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Public Policy from the United Nations University - Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS), which they will complete in 2020. Additionally, they are also pursuing a Master of Science from the United Nations University-MERIT, which they will complete in 2021.
