German Khokhlov

German Khokhlov has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. German started their career as a Middle PHP Developer at Novosibirsk College of Telecommunications and Informatic at SSUTIS in 2009, where they developed a dynamic website for tournaments between Siberian schools. German then joined Osefweb as a Middle PHP Developer, where they developed websites and plugins, including a complex CMS plugin for a building company.

In 2010, German became a Senior PHP Developer at Siberian Internet Weeks, one of the largest digital conferences in Eastern Europe. German contributed to various conferences, delivering reports and master classes. German then moved on to work as a Lead PHP Developer at Tagline, where they wrote a CRM system from scratch for digital companies and their data and works.

In 2017, they joined a no-code web application company as a Lead PHP Developer, responsible for the backend, servers, and dashboard. German worked there until 2021, during which they gained experience in PHP, Yii, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, and various database technologies.

In 2021, German joined a food delivery application company as a Senior Backend Developer, utilizing TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Nest.js, and Express.js. German then transitioned to a short-term position at payever as a Senior Backend Developer, where they developed and maintained a service that allows businesses to integrate with European marketplaces.

In 2022, German joined iCCup as a Back-end Developer, focusing on rewriting and improving the back-end for a Dota gaming platform. German updated the platform from PHP5 to PHP7 and had plans for further updates and transitions to modern front-end frameworks and backend languages.

In 2023, German worked at ScreenPic as a Rust Developer, rewriting and improving an app for making and managing screenshots. German transitioned to Phaver as a Backend Developer in the same year.

Throughout their career, German has gained experience in a wide range of technologies, including TypeScript, Rust, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Nest.js, Express.js, Microservices, Git, and more. German has a strong background in backend development and has also worked on improving existing systems and transitioning to modern technologies.

German Khokhlov has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Information Science, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended the Novosibirsk College of Telecommunications and Informatic at SSUTIS from 2005 to 2009, where they received a secondary technical education in Computer Science.
