Molly Mita McEndy is the current Director of Communications for the Philadelphia 76ers. Molly has held this position since March of 2020. Prior to their work with the 76ers, McEndy was a Manager of Communications for ESPN from July 2016 to March 2020. In this role, they were responsible for writing and distributing press releases and media alerts, pitching and securing media placements, and preparing executives for media appearances and public speaking opportunities.
From November 2014 to July 2016, McEndy worked as the Public Relations Manager for Icona Resorts where they planned and implemented the publicity strategy for multiple properties, wrote and submitted award nominations, built relationships with business owners and neighbors in the property communities, and collaborated with the marketing manager to create and implement marketing and social media strategies.
McEndy has always been passionate about communications and building relationships. Molly is an active member of multiple Chambers of Commerce and Tourism and Accommodations boards in New Jersey. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and reading.
Molly Mita McEndy received their Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Loyola University Maryland. Prior to that, they attended high school at Merion Mercy Academy.
