Frank Leicht

Frank Leicht has extensive work experience in the soccer coaching industry. Frank started their career at VfB Stuttgart in 1996 as a Cheftrainer for youth teams U13 to U18. Frank then joined 1. FC Köln as a Co-Trainer for the 1. Bundesliga in 2005. In 2006, they became the Cheftrainer for U19 and U23 teams at Eintracht Frankfurt. Frank later moved to SV Sandhausen 1916 e.V. as the Cheftrainer for the 3.Liga in 2010. Frank then worked at RB Leipzig from 2012 to 2017, where they held various roles including Cheftrainer for U17 and U19 teams, Nachwuchscheftrainer, and Scouting employee. Frank continued their coaching career at Eintracht Frankfurt from 2017 to 2019 as the Cheftrainer for U17 and U19 teams. In 2019, they joined FC Kairat as the Nachwuchscheftrainer und sportlicher Leiter Nachwuchs until 2020. Currently, Frank is working as an Assistant Soccer Coach for the MLS team, Philadelphia Union, starting from 2021.

Frank Leicht attended Pädagogische Hochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd from 1991 to 1997, where they pursued a Lehramtsstudium Grund- und Hauptschule (teaching degree in primary and secondary school). Later, they also studied at Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln, earning a Fussball-Lehrer/UEFA Pro Lizenz in 2000.
