Hrayr Hovsepyan

Hrayr Hovsepyan, PhD, currently serves as Experimental Engineering Manager and previously held the position of Senior Scientist - Innovation Management and Senior Scientist - Technology Research at Philip Morris International, focusing on the innovation of technologies, materials, and processes for final products. Prior experience includes leadership roles at National Instruments, where Hrayr led RF Applications Engineering and SDR teams and contributed as a Systems Engineer. Earlier positions at VivaCell-MTS involved planning and managing IP/MPLS and GSM/UMTS/LTE networks. Hrayr completed military service with commendation in the Ministry of Defence of Armenia. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Engineering in Wireless Communications from the Supreme Certifying Commission of Armenia, a master's degree from the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, and a bachelor's degree in Radiophysics from Yerevan State University, along with specialized training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Architecture & Systems Engineering.
