Mark Vlaanderen

Mark Vlaanderen is the current Head of Talent Management at Philips. Mark has been with the company since November 2017 and in their current role since August 2019. Prior to their current position, they served as the Head of HR for Philips IT from March 2014 to October 2017. Mark also served as the Sr. Director/ Head of Leadership, Talent & Learning for Philips Consumer Lifestyle from November 2012 to February 2014. Other previous positions at Philips include HR Director for IT Operations & Infrastructure from July 2010 to November 2012 and HR Manager for Corporate IT/IT Applications from September 2009 to July 2010. Before joining Philips, they worked as a Talent Manager Finance for Fortis Merchant Banking from November 2006 to April 2008 and as a Corporate Recruiter from March 2005 to November 2006. Mark's first job out of college was as an HR Advisor for Fortis Merchant Banking from March 2004 to March 2005.

Mark Vlaanderen studied for their MSc at the University of Amsterdam and completed their VWO at Bisschop Bekkers College.

They are on a team with Peter Dube - Director Talent Acquisition, Tony Strows - Head of Digital Learning Strategy & Transformation, and Alison Deede - Head Of Human Resources. Their manager is Daniela Seabrook, EVP & CHRO.
