John Mariz

John Mariz has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and engineering. John began their career in 1994 as a Communications Chief in the US Army, where they served for twenty years until 2014. After leaving the army, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Lead Instructor from 2014 to 2017. John then worked for Lockheed Martin as a System Engineer from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they are employed by Phoenix Defense, LLC., starting in 2020, where they have held various roles such as Information Technology Engineer and System Engineer.

John Mariz completed their education at two different institutions. John started their journey in 2005 by enrolling at Central Texas College, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Military Technologies and Applied Sciences. John successfully completed this program in 2014 after nine years of study. Following this, John pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science at Wayland Baptist University - Hawaii, starting in 2016 and finishing in 2017.
