Michala Hill

Michala Hill, GISP, is a seasoned geospatial professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations and projects. Currently serving as a Senior Geospatial Engineer at Phoenix Defense, LLC since August 2023, Michala previously held the position of Sr Geospatial Database Engineer at Dignitas Technologies, contributing to the Lockheed Martin F35 Training program. Prior to that, Michala served as a Sr Geospatial Systems Engineer at Cognitics, Inc., leading technical efforts for the USSOCOM CDB X Innovation initiative. A notable tenure as Senior GIS Analyst and Technical Lead at Leidos involved overseeing projects for military command systems. Earlier career roles included academic positions at the University of Florida and various research and technical support roles in environmental and biological studies. Michala holds a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Oklahoma State University.
