Dave Weitzel

Dave Weitzel has over 40 years of experience in various accounting and finance roles. Dave is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Phoenix Door Systems. From 2020 to 2021, they were semi-retired and available for part-time contract or project work in the accounting, FP&A, or treasury fields. Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Treasury Manager at The Waddington Group from 2003 to 2020, where they were responsible for treasury, A/R, and A/P functions. Dave also centralized A/R and A/P operations and implemented a third-party payables processor. Before that, they served as the Controller at McSwain Manufacturing Corp from 1996 to 2003, Regional Controller at U.S. Ink Corp from 1992 to 1996, and VP of Finance at Hunting Specialty Products, Inc. from 1985 to 1992. Dave Weitzel began their career as an Accounting/Payroll Clerk at Joseph Chevrolet Co. in 1973 and then worked as a Senior Accountant at Rotex Inc. from 1979 to 1985.

Dave Weitzel attended the University of Cincinnati from 1980 to 1985, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting.
