Dominic Moran has extensive work experience in tax and finance roles. Dominic currently serves as the Head of Tax Europe at Phoenix Group, and previously held the position of Interim Head of Tax Europe at the same company. Prior to joining Phoenix Group, they worked as the Head of Tax at Depfa Bank from 2014 to 2021. Dominic also has experience at Ulster Bank Group, where they served as the Centre Financial Controller and later as the Head of Tax, Regulatory Assurance & Operational Risk. Dominic began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Tax Manager.

Dominic Moran obtained their primary education at CBS Secondary School in Wexford from 1989 to 1994. Dominic then attended Dublin City University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a BA MBS degree in Accountancy & Finance. Following this, they pursued further education in taxation and accounting. Dominic completed an Associate degree at the Irish Taxation Institute from 1998 to 2000 and became a Fellow at Chartered Accountants Ireland from 1999 to 2002. In 2013, Dominic obtained a Certificate in VAT from the Irish Tax Institute, and in 2014, they attained an Advanced Diploma in International Tax from the Chartered Institute of Tax.
