Mark Coates has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark began their career at McDonald's, starting as a Crew Member in 2007 and eventually progressing to become a Shift Running Floor Manager. In 2015, they transitioned to ReAssure, where they held various roles including Customer Service Representative, Suspense Representative, Customer Services Quality Guardian, and DCI Analyst. Most recently, they joined Phoenix Group in 2022 as a Data Improvement Technical Lead and later became the Data Improvement Pod Lead.

Mark Coates earned a Bachelor of Science - BSc degree in International Relations with Politics from the University of Plymouth. Mark attended the university from 2011 to 2014.
