Kimberly Parker has worked as a Concept Artist at Phoenix Labs since July 2021, contributing to character design, creature design, world art, VFX, and props for the game Fae Farm. Prior to this, they did some splash art for Dauntless and worked on visual development for an unannounced IP.
Before joining Phoenix Labs, Kimberly worked at Anemone Hug Interactive, Inc. from August 2017 to June 2021. Kimberly started as a Concept and Production Artist and later became the Lead Concept Artist.
Kimberly also worked as a Freelance Artist from September 2013 to June 2021.
In addition, they have experience as a Research and Production Assistant at Basically Good Media from February 2015 to August 2017, where they assisted with research in motion capture and virtual reality labs. Kimberly also aided in designing and producing department projects and created concepts and assets for in-game use.
Kimberly began their career as a Game Art Intern at InfiniDy Corp from May 2013 to August 2013.
Kimberly Parker pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with their studies at Queen's University from 2006 to 2010. During this period, they completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science (BAH) degree with a focus on Philosophy. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2018, Kimberly attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Kimberly'smajor in this program was in Illustration and Design. Overall, Kimberly's educational background comprises a multidisciplinary approach, with a blend of philosophy and artistic expertise gained from their studies at Queen's University and Emily Carr University.
